Rules of Tajweed - Al Ikhfa'a - الْإخْفَآءُ


Al Ikhfa'a الْإخْفَآءُ - (Hiding)

Any Noon Sakeena نْ, ن  or Tanween ـــًـــٍـــٌ followed by any of these letters ك ق ف ظ ط ض ص ش س ز ذ د ج ث ت will be pronounced with a slight nasal sound like your merging the Noon or Tanween into the next letter.

تَاءٌ وَثَاءٌ جِيمُ دالٌ ذَالُ 0
زَايٌ وسِينُ صَادٌ ضَادٌ.
طَاءٌ وظَاءٌ فَاءُ قَافٌ كَافُ 0
فِي هَذِهِ قَدْ يَلْزَمُ الْإخْفَآءُ

فَأمَّامَنِ ثَقُلَتْ
يَوْمًا ثَقِيلًا 0

مَن ذَالَّذِي
سِرَاعًا ذَالِكَ

أنزَلَ اللهُ
نَفْسًا زَكِيَّةً

مَنسِيًّا
قَوْلًا سَدِيدًا

ش
مِن شَيْءٍ
غَفُورًا شَكُورًا 0

ص
مَنصُورْ
عذَابًا صَعَدًا 0

ض
مَنضُود 0
قَوْمًا ضَالِينَ 0

ط
يَنطَلِقُ
بَلْدَةٌ طَيِّبَةٌ

ظ
ينظُرُونَ
قُرًى ظَاهِرَةً

ف
لَاتَنفِرُوا
شَيْئًا فَرِيًا

ق
مِن قَوْلٍ
ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا 0

كـ
مَن كَانَ
أَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ

ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَيُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ  وَمِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ يُنفِقُونَ ٣

وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ  إِلَيۡكَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبۡلِكَ وَبِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمۡ يُوقِنُونَ ٤

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَأَنذَرۡتَهُمۡ أَمۡ لَمۡ تُنذِرۡهُمۡ  لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ ٦

وَإِن كُنتُـمۡ فِي رَيۡبٖ مِّمَّا نَزَّلۡنَا عَلَىٰ عَبۡدِنَا فَأۡتُواْ  بِسُورَةٖ مِّن مِّثۡلِهِۦ وَٱدۡعُواْ شُهَدَآءَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن  كُنتُـمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ ٢٣

هُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ  لَكُم مَّا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ  فَسَوَّىٰهُنَّ سَبۡعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٖۚ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٞ ٢٩

وَإِذۡ فَرَقۡنَا بِكُمُ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ فَأَنجَيۡنَٰكُمۡ  وَأَغۡرَقۡنَآ ءَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَأَنتُمۡ تَنظُرُونَ ٥٠

وَظَلَّلۡنَا عَلَيۡكُمُ  ٱلۡغَمَامَ وَأَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡمَنَّ وَٱلسَّلۡوَىٰۖ كُلُواْ مِن طَيِّبَٰتِ  مَا رَزَقۡنَٰكُمۡۚ وَمَا ظَلَمُونَا وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ ٥٧

أَيَوَدُّ أَحَدُكُمۡ أَن تَكُونَ لَهُۥ  جَنَّةٞ مِّن نَّخِيلٖ وَأَعۡنَابٍ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ لَهُۥ  فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ وَأَصَابَهُ ٱلۡكِبَرُ وَلَهُۥ ذُرِّيَّةٞ  ضُعَفَآءُ فَأَصَابَهَآ إِعۡصَارٞ فِيهِ نَارٞ فَٱحۡتَرَقَتۡۗ كَذَٰلِكَ  يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَفَكَّرُونَ ٢٦٦


OR

When the letter ب appears after a مْ it (م) will be pronounced with a light nasal sound in the nose.

Surah 02, Ayat 8

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ  مَن يَقُولُ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَبِٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِ وَمَا هُم بِمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٨

Tajweed Lesson Two, Part: 3. Arabic Letter Pronunciation with examples (Al Lisaan اللِّسَانُ)

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim (In the Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Most Kind). Al Lisaan اللِّسَانُ -  Many letters come from the mouth: that is the tongue and its connection with the different areas of the teeth and mouth There are 4 main makhaarij that can be divided into 10 sub-categories: The furthest back part of the tongue - this has 2 subcategories: I,  ق is pronounced by the extreme back of the tongue touching the upper palate to create a thick sound in the tonsils vicinity, with a round sound ( إقْ ) يَتَقبلُ اللهُ, المُستَقِيم, قُوَّةٍ مِّن, يَقْعُدُ II, ك The makhraj is slightly in front of the ق . This time the tongue should not meet the upper palate other than what is necessary to pronounce the letter.
