Tajweed Lesson One, Part:1. Arabic Alphabet

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim

(In the Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Most Kind).

The Arabic alphabet is written and read from right to left and horizontally. There are 28 letters in the Arabic alphabet, first let’s watch the video below:

ح حاء haa	خ خاء kha	د دالْ daal	ذ ذَالْ thaal	ر رَاء raa

ط طَاء taa	ظ ظَاء thaa	ع عَين ayn	غ غَين ghayn	ف فَاء faa

ه هَاء haa	و واوْ waaw	ي ياء yaa
